This year I did my first craft show ever with my baskets! It was better than I had hoped! The turn out was wonderful for a first year show, and the response to my baskets were WODNERFUL!!!! Below are a few pictures of some of the baskets brought to the show! They turned out so much better than I could have hoped for!

Please note I am still taking orders for Christmas 2011 and look forward to making more baskets before the end of the Holiday Season! Because the turn out was better than anticipated I have decided to run a 10% discount through December 2nd. Any holiday order placed before the 2nd will receive 10% their order price! Sample Christmas Couture Basket

Yesterday I finished my first Christmas Couture Basket for the 2011 year! I was really pleased with the way it turned out! I look forward to making more, obviously all of them having their own little unique look!

This basket is a little different in that most Christmas Couture Baskets don't have a coffee mug, they usually have some designer pretzel stixs!

I was really pleased with the White-n-Red cake pops in this basket. I switched my candi melt and was afraid it might not take as well!

I hope to have a "Blue Christmas Basket" posted by the end of the week! I am super excited about it (it's one of my faves)!!!!

*~*A Night Full of Cake Pops and Memories*~*

So last night my kitchen was covered in chocolate cake, dark chocolate icing, and white candy melt! I can honestly say I have officially gotten into the creative groove! With the Christmas on Oak Ridge show, Thanksgiving, and Christmas right around the corner; as much as I hate to admit it I've been bitten by the Holiday bug!

Whenever I find myself becoming smitten with the idea of the impending Holiday season I am always reminded of why this time of year brings so much joy to my life! I find myself slipping into memories from my childhood of family gatherings, bake days in the kitchen with my mom and siblings, and of course all of the wonderful smells and tastes that come along with those special times!

This year is particularly special in that a new chapter of my life will begin during this wonderful season. My husband Jeramie and I are expecting the greatest gift any family can receive during the holidays. We will be meeting our precious son Elijah for the the first time. Elijah is scheduled to be here right around Christmas this year.

So while everyone thinks about the upcoming Holiday season, make sure to take the time and remember what makes this season truly special to everyone....Love! Be sure to not only receive and embrace the love you have in your life, but to give it to others as well!!!!

Upcoming Christmas Show

So my first project for this blog is to document and share the products I plan to create for an upcoming Christmas show I am going to participate in. I am really excited because this is the first time I am going to be offering my little trinkets and goodies to people other than my family and friends! I think for this show I am going to focus mainly on gift baskets. The baskets I create often times come from randomly splendid ideas I get online, in thrift stores, and from magazines.
